Stoneweg Hospitality and Bain Capital have completed the sale of Mongibello Ibiza to Grupo Ramat and a consortium of investors, marking a major milestone in their value‑add investment strategy. Acquired in 2022, the asset has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment and repositioning programme that has transformed it into one of Ibiza’s most distinctive lifestyle hospitality destinations. Located in Santa Eulària des Riu, the 168-room seafront hotel has been reimagined with a strong identity inspired by 1960s-1970s Italian and Mediterranean culture, combining design, experiential offerings and a curated events programme. The transaction highlights the successful execution of the joint venture’s strategy to unlock value in high-potential hospitality assets in constrained, highly competitive markets, while ensuring continuity of the concept under Grupo Ramat’s management.
